And Eventually...

Since I got the NSO copy of my Birth Certificate, I decided to go ahead and pursue my passport application. And yep, another late bloomer here!

This time, I was not with Marvin; my good ol' Kuya accompanied me to DFA. Ayos lang naman, it wasn't so hard to figure our what you're supposed to do but grabe and mga fixers - so ung mga first timers and soloists na walk-in sa DFA, kawawa naman .

Since I'm bored today, hehe, I'll write the process: magbasa ka na lang, leave the writing to me - tutal blog ko naman to - wahaha. Boring ba? :D

Para sa mga first timers:

1. Look for the gate of DFA, don't listen to anyone else or entertain anyone. The entrance is on the right side of the street coming from LRT. But from the service road of Roxas Blvd, sa left sya.
   
2. After entering a narrow path, you'll see a blue gate sa right. Pasok ka lang, it'll look like a big basketball court sa loob.
3. Filling up process na. Go ahead and get a Form, look for the information. They'll ask for your Birth Certificate then will give you a form. Fill it up, there are numerous stand-up-tables-only dun.
4. The form will require you mga 4 pieces ata na picture in 4.5cm x 3.5 cm. If you have a pre-taken picture na with you, make sure 2 pieces are inside a clear plastic pouch then staple it in the form. Kung wala naman, magpapicture ka dun sa mukhang bus na nakaistambay dun sa loob ng Basketball Court. Php150.00 lang sya - mga 5 copies ata un. Less than 15 minutes lang namin ni kuya hinintay. If you're not wearing a collared shirt, or polo, meron din silang mga quick slips na mga half polos. Wear it and smile!
5. After the picture, again, staple 2 pieces sa form and make sure it's inside a plastic pouch. Tinitinda din ang plastic pouch na yan for Php1.00 jan sa loob. :) Another picture should be pasted sa form - total of 3 pics na. Don't worry, merong part dun sa court na may staplers and paste.
6. This time, mag thumb mark ka na. Self service po ang mga yan, so make sure you know how to read and watch the right people do it. nyahahaha.
7. Bago ka pumila sa Verification - may 2 guard muna na magsta-stamp sa form mo. Hindi ko lam kung ano tinitignan nila sa form para tatakan nila. Basta natatakan na - gora ka na sa next step.
   
8. Ngayon, it's time to make pila. 4 na beses ka lang pipila. Kung sineswerte ka naman at walang tao, di ka na pipila. Unang pila - pilahan papuntang WindowA. Actually, nakaupo ka naman, so carry lang.

12. Pagpasok mo ng Gate 2, your task is to present your verified application form sa mga counters. • NSO Birth Certificate, actually, they will get the original, but just to make sure, photocopy mo na ren. May service dun ng photocopy pero pag umuulan nga naman ng tao - pati dun may pila.
• Lahat ng ID's na meron ka. Student ID, SSS, Company ID, kahit ano ipa photocopy mo, mabuti na ung handa.
• Kung meron kang TOR or Transcript of Records, sama mo na ren yan
• Baptismal Certificate. Kesyo panahon pa yan ni kopong kopong, pwede yan
• NBI Clearance. cge lang, photocopy lang ng photocopy
• SSS E1 kung wala ka pang ID
• Income Tax Return (BIR Form 2316)
13. Bago ka matapos sa second verification na ito, they'll ask you if you want a RUSH or REGULAR Passport. As of this date, prices are Php750.00 which you can claim in 2 days or Php500.00 for 6 working days.
14. Lastly, Exit ka lang from Gate 2 and Welcome to Gate 3 - Cashier's Corner! :) Pila agad and pay the exact amount para iwas hassle.
15. Weeeee, keep your receipt and be back when to claim your passport. Nakatatak sa receipt kung kelan mo pwedeng makuha passport mo. Sa same gate na ito mo din sya makukuha. So if you're claiming na - proceed to this gate na at once. :)
