i wonder how many people like me think of their future one way or another. no one has made me feel that your dreams can become a reality in an instant and that the dream that you wanted to reach is a step away, like what my manager has showed/ told me recently.
gulo ko ba?
ala lang. i’m happy and contented with what i have and what i am doing at the moment. i am taking things one at a time, learning from the people i treat as mentors and looking at things brightly.. to be continued..
today is august 23 2006 (maybe when i finish this it’ll be already aug 24 - i have things doing simultaneously - so goodluck to me) and we are celebrating our 1st year anniversary. let me quote him though “due to financial circumstances, we can’t celebrate our first year with a bang”
anyway. 
we celebrated at manila pavillion hotel. we dined and ate whatever our stomach can take.
we agreed to meet at sm manila around 5PM but I was not yet done preparing that time so he had to come and pick me up from home and go together at the hotel. passed 6 we arrived at pavillion. yesterday afternoon we already decided that we’re going to go for SEASONS restaurant. pavillion is offering 5 types of restaurant and bar, they have Patisserie - for pastries, cakes and others, they have Boulvar which operates like a restaurant/ bar type, they have Peony Garden which serves mostly chinese food, Rotisserie and Seasons. we dined at seasons and enjoyed their buffet serving. buffet meal is Php1,050.00 per head.
it’s my first time to eat in a hotel restaurant so i really don’t know what to do. marvin seems to be laughing at me becuase I’m having a hard time thinking on what to do first and what to eat first. hehe, akala ko, go grab all the food you want and bring it on your table. medyo decent pala. Soup muna, then go for your meals. my gosh, every food was so delicious - i swear.
i don’t want to name the food we ate, hehe - i’m not so good at that. basta, tinikman ko yung brocolli and crab soup nila - sarap. you can put cruttons and garlic all you want! after marvin took dumplings and siomai in seaweeds, umupo na siya, sabi ko - abah! yan lang kakainin naten? kuha tayo rice - heheh, mamya na pala yun. so we take time in eating the dumplings and siomai - they were great. after we ate that, umulit siya nung same food sa sobrang sarap. then i went and took some gambas and rice. nagulat siya kasi yung lang kinuha ko eh, hiya ako sa mga waiters eh. nagpaluto din ako ng shrimp tempura - sarap. then he took so many japanese foods like sushi, etc. i don’t know what else, they’re raw and cold so i definitely wouldn’t want to eat them, hindi nga ako naki-share. i took my own food. after we finished it, nag offer yung mga waiters na bigyan kami ng drinks - so we ordered watermelon shake and iced tea. let me quote again, “the watermelon we had is the best watermelon we ever tasted” - marvin. not too sweet, hindi din matabang. after that kwento kwento ulet kami, tapos we took another food pa ren. - wala ng katapusan noh?
pagtapos namen nun, marvin took japanese food pa ren then i took some salad naman. so we ate. after that, nahiya na talaga ko. i joined marvin na lang. he took a fish cooked in creamy sauce - like butter ata, then spicy pusit, grilled chicken and turkey! first time, yes there’s always first time to eat one - and that’s the first time i ate a turkey. hehe. sorry, pero hindi pa dun nagtatapos yung food trip. after that, kwentuhan to the max kami ulet - picture taking galore and everything.
medyo elevated yung place namen kasi non-smoking, so i went down again and took some desserts. i took an apple cinnamon something and chocolate mousse, masarap na too sweet. i ate one scoop of ice cream too. then i had brocolli soup, haha - ewan ko ba.
uhmm, after non, hindi na kami pareho makatayo. basta isa lang alam ko - the experience was great and so was the food. it was the best buffet i ever had - yet.
i want to go back to Manila Pavillion again because the food was great, the people were nice and the ambiance were awesome.
after the too many good things that happened to me last week.. i woke up this morning feeling weirdly cold. i got up my bed and do my usual routine. i report for work in the morning shift for the past 2 months already i suppose. this day was earlier than usual because marvin asked me to come a bit earlier so we can have breakfast together.
funny because when i woke up, i really felt cold. i was like shivering, so i turned off my fan. i went down from my bed to try and eat. i went to the kitchen, put a ‘kaserola’ and filled it with water. nawawala kasi yung water heater namen eh. then i went to the dining table to drink coffee (kahit hindi talaga ako nagkakape). i savored the taste of the coffee while waiting for the water to boil. after sometime, i heard a hissing sound from the kitchen. i thought the water might be spilling that’s why it sounds like that. uhmm, nice - kumukulo na yung tubig. ayos. when i opened the lid, may nakita akong noodles noodles sa loob nung kaserola. funny kasi iniisip ko kung gagamitin ko talaga yung tubig pampaligo - - ahahaha, nakakatawa talaga ako. anyway, naligo tuloy ako ng malamig na malamig yung tubig.
good: i reported for work earlier than usual. i was expected to be here at 6 and surprisingly, i made it.
bad: i tried withdrawing dahil 100 na lang laman ng wallet ko, uhmm, offline yung bank. tawid ako sa kabila to withdraw BPI, oops - magnetic swipe unable to detect - kamusta naman di ba? nasira credit card ko. kapa ng pera sa bulsa - 100 lng talaga. wala akong dalang breakfast so sa pantry lang kami bumili. another so bad thing. pinapunta ako ng maaga dito, knowing his lunch was at 6 — 7 na ata kami nag lunch. sana natulog na lang ako sa bahay kesa magising ng 4AM db? sana nakakain pa ko. lastly, i’m sick. i’m not feeling well today. vi-nomit ko nga lang yung kinain ko kanina sa pantry eh. haaaaaay, life.
who says ice cream doesn’t make your day? think again.
i was very sleepy this shift. why? because finally i was able to give back hazel’s digicam. and for me to accomplish that i need to give it to lucky. i don’t have anyone with me last night so i didn’t go to her place so i decided to it in the morning instead. since her shift starts at 6am, she has to be at lrt at 5am - which in turn makes me wake up early too and meet her at 5am. in short, kulang tulog ko. but i’m happy because i was able to give it back, it’s been with me for ages - sorry bax.
okay, so during 11:00 to 12 noon - i’m feeling so sleepy na. i have to make naps in between my work stuff for me to avoid feeling dizzy towards the afternoon. marvin and i had lunch at wendy’s @ MOA, sarap talaga ng chicken! then we bought ICEBERGS ice cream - yahu! and that truly made my day.

my store site is doing a very good job in getting its market i suppose. not bad for a start. i’m happy and hope to do well - more and more everyday.
my bestfriend is pushing more and more items to sell and i liked it. one of the few reasons why i ‘pushed’ myself to launch my baby is because i know i have a lot of competitors around. i read from the alchemist - beginners luck ng business starters yung kumikita pa sa una - para magtuloy tuloy ka sa business, but in the long run - pag nagkamali ka, business will dive down.
anyway, i hope this is not beginners luck. i’m serious about the business. i’m serious about making money. i’m serious about life.

Accenture Team, Friendly Skies and Best Western are going out and will have a Team Building at Pampanga for 2 days, Oct 15 -16, 2005. I don't have money with me as of the moment and when i say no money, it's only good for a regular day.
My friends' birthday will be on Sunday and i don't know if i can come too.. i don't know if i will have enough time plus the fact that i really don't have much money.
i guess this is how everything should be..
by the way, the OTR position has been uplifted and i'm now a fully pledged trainer.

for the past few months, my body kinda lay back a bit and stopped thinking about my future. i have not thought of something that i wanted to achieve for the coming years, longterm and short term goals. That's the reason why I think I am really not going anywhere. Well, sleeping giant should be awaken and I have to do something about my life or else I might get old like this - hahaha.
there would be a long way to go.. so much to learn, so much to give, to get, to experience, so i'm taking one step at a time.. everything is starting from here.. God help me.. :)
hopefully I can get something for my family- I need a business that can sustain us for the years to come. hopefully, if not this year, with God's will - next year, we can put this into material. from here, another business sana can materialize - para samen naman - the KIDS... hehehe.
well i want a career so if ever i have my own business already, i won't be resigning from work - i don't want yet. besides, you get to meet a lot of people when you work. if this time comes, hopefully my brother would have gone to states to work naman for himself - like what he really wanted. my sister would have been working by this time too, para sa sarili din niya. so after few more years of making money - hehehe.. i can settle down and move out of the country. gawing bakasyunan na lang ang Pilipinas - hehehehe... joke lang. :)
well, it all boils down to our values - working hard, dedication to work, saving money, putting your goals in front of you, loving people around you, taking away negative vibrations and negative people, laughing, crying, LIVING... the life that you always wanted and of course, placing GOD in the center of all these... I LOVE YOU LORD.. thank you so much for all the blessing all these years.. with your mercy, I know nothing is impossible.

it's been a while since the last time i wrote here. The last entry that i had w/c was LAST SHIFT AS AN AGENT was 2 months ago.
Developments:
I had 2 new hire classes for those past months and i learned a lot from them. there were times that i really felt like crying because everything is just a mess and everything feels so frustrating pag may nangyaring kakaiba. teaching and being a trainer is different from what i used to do before. it is way different from what i have learned during college too. well, nevertheless, i sincerely appreciate every single day of my life, i'm having fun and i'm learning.
I truly miss my HN family. The family that gave me the encouragement that I can do things and that they trust me so much that I can definitely achieve my goals in LIFE. I hope they know how much i LOVE them :)
Speaking of love, i know few people have secrets to share - di ba chel? This is the reason why i am happy, i think i'm in Love with Love itself - haha - nye!

i have read this news from Manila Bulletin, Sunday issue; they have this one whole broadsheet article about call center agents. I felt satisfied on how they actually justified the call center agents and the nature of work itself. many not-so-brilliant people don't understand how call center works. they simply know that we are getting paid by merely answering the phone and sitting down for hours.
to tell you honestly - it is indeed true. but the fact that you can take a single call as magnificent. americans consumers that call us can absolutely tell if we are an american or not. ACCENT is a big asset. you have to know how to speak their language. you have to know how to fill in the words to communicate effectively. you may sound idiot at times coz they really won't understand you whatever word you speak. so you have to know the accent, the words. and for a record - we are trained about things i don't know before. i really don't think a lot of people would understand.
while reading the bulletin, i saw an article about Jessica Alba - i remembered Rina so I read the article. Interesting facts. She's a mixed Spanish, Danish and French lived in Southern California. Her film debut was at age 13 at Camp Nowhere. Then there's Nickelodeon's "The World of Alex Mack" and Flipper. I do watch Alex Mack before but I don't know her yet that time. Age 16 when she received her highschool diploma. Then she was casted for the movie "Never Been Kissed". If i'm not mistaken it starred Drew Barrymore - still, hindi ko siya napansin - screw me. Then later, the famous "Dark Angel" and last 2003 the movie "Honey". This year her movies include "Fantastic Four" and in the blue, i think, i'm not that sure - (this title i forgot - haha).
